Whole Foods is a wonderful world. Saturdays mean free samples of Cheddar Cheese, Ciao Bella gelato, and the new natural soda of the day. Cold salad bars boast fresh veggies, chicken, tuna, and tofu salads, cheeses and apples, among many others. Paralleling the cold food bar are the hot ones with chicken Tikki Masala, mashed potatoes, baked veggies, and a variety of rice. Mix and match; there is something here for every taste bud.

The menu boasts that special rolls are always 50% off, which means this place is really cheap. Lunch special includes miso soup or salad and two rolls for $6.95. Regular hand rolls are around three dollars, while the special rolls like the Green River (spicy tuna, tempura flakes, avocado) are around $6. The sushi is great, though we advise ordering out to avoid beer spilling on you from neighboring sake bombers. Unless that’s your thing in which case… have fun.

About Us
We are young (early 20's) and hungry (for knowledge! music! art! food!) friends living on (or in areas which border) Manhattan. We moved to the city seeking higher education, and an alternative to frat parties and gin buckets. We prefer a bottle of Chianti to a keg, lunches at City Bakery to a dining hall, Joe's to Starbucks, Frankie's Amatriciana to Batali's. Our uniting factor is our love for food. For detailed, personal information, keep reading.
