Good or Gross? Seth tries Dunkin' Donuts Sausage Pancake Balls
VIDEO
November 8, 2010
Introducing Good or Gross, a new video series here at The Young and Hungry in which we seek out possibly nasty/possibly genius food combos from a chain restaurant and then force Seth to try it on camera.
This all came about because we recognized a certain amount of hypocrisy in our eating decisions. While a strange food combo at a chain restaurant might trigger our gag reflexes, if the same dish were presented on a menu at one of our favorite restaurants we'd probably just see it as "adventurous." We don't like to think of ourselves as food snobs (that's a lie, we totally do) but this seems like a really fun way to spend our Sundays, and only Seth actually has to eat it. So, on to the first Good or Gross, in which Seth tastes Dunkin' Donuts new Sausage Pancake Balls! CONT'D
The Verdict: Dunkin' Donuts Sausage Pancake Bites easily fall into the category of gross. Not only did they paint Seth’s hands with grease, but the sausage part was ice cold and there was an unidentifiable “gooey substance” which is exactly how we envision food poisoning to look.

About Us
We are young (early 20's) and hungry (for knowledge! music! art! food!) friends living on (or in areas which border) Manhattan. We moved to the city seeking higher education, and an alternative to frat parties and gin buckets. We prefer a bottle of Chianti to a keg, lunches at City Bakery to a dining hall, Joe's to Starbucks, Frankie's Amatriciana to Batali's. Our uniting factor is our love for food. For detailed, personal information, keep reading.
