Cupcake Stop: Mobile Cupcakes Have Arrived! Sneak Preview Tonight

We think the recession is guiding some Americans in the right direction. Example: Lev Ekster, a graduate from New York Law who couldn't find a job as a lawyer, and instead went into the mobile cupcake business.  Because really, how much longer could New York City have survived without cupcakes on wheels?   

 

What you need to know:

-The cupcakes are baked fresh daily with high-quality ingredients. 

-Traditional flavors are sold in addition to special ones like mint chocolate chip, strawberry shortcake, and peanut butter and old fashioned banana pudding.

-Leftovers are donated to homeless shelters and charities.  

-Cupcake Stop will be using Twitter to communicate the truck's daily locations, but plans to be around Herald Square from 9am-5pm, and Union Square or the West Village from 6pm-12am.  

 

If you're not already on a Jitney or Grayhound or hitchiking to a beach this weekend, here's what you should be doing.  The Cupcake Stop is planning a sneak peak route this tonight night at 6pm at 23rd St. between 7th and 8th Avenue.
