One Girl Cookies is the most charming, non-pretentious little bakeshop we've ever laid eyes on. The space is a converted townhouse, with the garage serving as a renovated dining room, complete with pastel painted walls, vintage mirrors, chic lighting, and happy people. The endearing decor can undoubtedly be attributed to the owner, a former Barney's manager, with flawless taste (for both interior design and dessert). But unlike Barney's, the cafe is nonexclusive, inviting and friendly-- the kind of vibe that rarely survives in Manhattan, inevitably falling prey to media frenzy, moping hipsters, or tourists...
The desserts at One Girl Cookie are made with care and precision, and as a result, they have personality. Mini cookies with all-female names like Lucia, Lana, Sadie, and Penelope, lack in size but not in flavor. Chocolate based, fruit-filled, buttery and crispy, these sweet little bites are as tasty as they are pretty. Like the decor, the edibles are stylish. The icing on the cupcakes is spiked upwards, and the gift wrapping is like artwork. Most creatively, the iced coffees never get watered down with frozen coffee "ice-cubes," which are made with decaf coffee to please all customers. A variety of sweets including whoopie pies, layered cakes, seasonal treats, and gelato ensure loyal patriots of this superb spot where "good taste" takes on a whole new meaning.

About Us
We are young (early 20's) and hungry (for knowledge! music! art! food!) friends living on (or in areas which border) Manhattan. We moved to the city seeking higher education, and an alternative to frat parties and gin buckets. We prefer a bottle of Chianti to a keg, lunches at City Bakery to a dining hall, Joe's to Starbucks, Frankie's Amatriciana to Batali's. Our uniting factor is our love for food. For detailed, personal information, keep reading.
