Many people consider Soho to be the most beautiful zone in Manhattan. Still, it’s nice to leave every once and a while and experience something new. I know that no one goes uptown to eat, but I do, and Salumeria Rosi Parmacotto is the perfect example of why you should, too.
“I’ve died and gone to heaven,” said my mother, as we dug into our fifth plate at Salumeria Rosi Parmacotto. When I enter an Italian restaurant I want to try every single thing on the menu. My dream has come to fruition at Rosi Parmacotto, for while their menu isn’t small, their portions are, and every plate is under $10. This means I get to sample nearly everything, especially when Mama Celenza is paying for it...
To get an idea of the restaurant's style imagine tapas, but Italian! To start off our meal we had the broccoli rabe which was the best I’ve ever eaten in my life-- perfectly al dente, with a wonderful punch from the pepperoncino. Next up was the carbonara egg drop soup with homemade crutons, and freshly sliced (on the spot) pancetta--just amazing. The $6 mezzi rigatoni all’amatriciana was delicious, and true to what one would find in Roma. The stinco plate came next, with braised lamb shanks over polenta and broccolini; the lamb was moist and tender and the sides were wonderfully seasoned. Other dishes included some slices of speck, my favorite, and 36-month-old proscuitto di parma and coppa, another favorite. In addition to being a stellar Italian tapas bar, Rosi Paramacotto also sells specially goods to go: Italian bottles of anchovies, olives, tomatoes, and capers, along with any of their sliced meats. High end deli and restaurant? Frank is happy.

WrZby3 Is anybody strong in radio here? We need a colleague who would tell us briefly about the transistor T2. I hope there are radio amateurs here. If it`s not on the subject at all, then I`m sorry. I have to write because I have no choice. PS: if the spelling is not right then also I'm sorry, I'm just 13 years old...

About Us
We are young (early 20's) and hungry (for knowledge! music! art! food!) friends living on (or in areas which border) Manhattan. We moved to the city seeking higher education, and an alternative to frat parties and gin buckets. We prefer a bottle of Chianti to a keg, lunches at City Bakery to a dining hall, Joe's to Starbucks, Frankie's Amatriciana to Batali's. Our uniting factor is our love for food. For detailed, personal information, keep reading.

I went and got the chef's prosciutto platter where you have no say in what you are getting but a huge plate with 7 different prosciuttos arrives. It was unbelievable... everything was so tender you barely needed a fork. I had never been so happy to surrender the independence of ordering for myself. My only regret is that i didn't get the cheese plate to go with my dinner which in the end consisted entirely of ham.
