Only in Manhattan would there be a restaurant that exclusively serves Macaroni and Cheese-- and in a skillet! Kids, parents, singles, and couples alike crowd to S'MAC for a boiling hot pot of mac n' cheese. My friend Jeanne and I ventured in on a cloudy, overcast afternoon, hoping for a pick-me-up and S'MAC did not disappoint. The menu consists of over 11 different types of S'macs, plus some options, starting with the noodles themselves. All S'macs can be made with either regular (for those of us who don't care), multi-grain (for those who pretend to be healthy), or gluten free (for those who don't eat wheat) noodles. So not only is S'MAC delicious, but thoughtful too! Menu highlights include the all-American, 4 cheese, cheeseburger, napoletana, cajun, masala, and buffalo chicken macaroni n' cheeses, to name a few...
Of course, there is always the option to "make your own." After much deliberation, Jeanne I decided to try the all-American with breadcrumbs and the napoletana. Our lunch came out boiling, glistening, and enticing. The tops were perfectly crispy which balanced out the soft, creamy interiors. The all-American was everything I hoped for in a classic mac n' cheese-- wholesome, hearty, feel-good food. The Napoletana was a tasty pizza-macaroni hybrid. I can't wait to return and try the cheeseburger S'mac, though I might have to go to the gym first...

About Us
We are young (early 20's) and hungry (for knowledge! music! art! food!) friends living on (or in areas which border) Manhattan. We moved to the city seeking higher education, and an alternative to frat parties and gin buckets. We prefer a bottle of Chianti to a keg, lunches at City Bakery to a dining hall, Joe's to Starbucks, Frankie's Amatriciana to Batali's. Our uniting factor is our love for food. For detailed, personal information, keep reading.
